Associate Veterinarian

Kapia Partners are currently working with a practice located in Hoboken, New jerseys that is seeking a qualified DVM to join their supportive team environment that promotes growth and learning, a healthy work/life balance and on top of all that, a great benefits package! On lunch breaks and days off you can enjoy the Hudson River Waterfront Walkways and links to several green spaces with bars cluster along the riverside front.

You will get to become part of their family that includes 3 full-time doctors typically working 11 hours 4 days a week. They are a proud team of highly trained, experienced animal lovers that are devoted to giving their patients the best care possible. Our client’s mission is to provide compassionate, transparent and revolutionary care to their furry friends when they need it most. You can work with the latest diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, digital radiology, and state-of-the-art lab equipment.

The Role:

• Small animal’s duties include performing wellness and sickness exams
• consulting with clients
• administering routine vaccinations
• drawing blood, radiographs, ultrasound, prescribing medications, evaluating and suturing wounds
• performing surgeries such as spay/neuter procedures, orthopaedic, dentistry
• performing post-surgical follow up and follow up of hospitalised patients

Key Skill:

• Have earned a DVM or equivalent degree
• Passionate about veterinary medicine
• Be fulfilled by helping others
• Thrive in team-oriented environments
• Enjoy working a flexible schedule
• Enjoy the ability to fully work-up and treat a broad range of challenging cases
